Hell no. We need to take the government and smush it back to a small government. The government should only protect our rights and property. Welfare and all that crap are making ALL of us poor, even the ones getting welfare. For those esceptic to the fact that poverty cant be eliminated just watch those emerging countries and how their poor people are actually getting decent jobs. To end poverty we just need to promoted education and fair trade rules. Punish those who go to poor countries just to exploit their people to get cheaper products. Education leads to people more selfcouncius of their political decisions that would lead to better leaders.
