This statement shows that you believe that no one is born poor. As is turns out some people are born poor and some rich and some in between and we all see the world through our own suffering first. Poverty often is caused by factors other than personal wealth: hundreds of people in Darfur were at least scraping by, until they were forced to leave their farms and homes. Now they have nothing. Money can't give them their property back. Politics and diplomacy can. Even a rich and famous person has only one voice and one vote.

That may be the case in America, but in a lot of third world countries, 90% the money is concentrated in an elite 10% of people. Some may work for their money, but a considerable amount of individuals rest on the riches of their families.
