Only when a person receives Jesus into their heart as their own personal Saviour and Lord, will anything truly happen and begin. Poverty is a spiritual problem a problem of sin, and only Jesus can take care of it. You can feed a person's belly, etc. etc. but they can still die and go to Hell on a full stomach.
