Emphasizing that God is upset about us thinking we have a right to kill when what we should be doing is helping those in need. People say they fight in the name of Jesus, but Jesus never laid a finger on anybody, even when they beat his face in and spat on him. He just gave people food and healed them. I agree that it would be challenging to solve world hunger. But, if we could even help a few people live without hunger, it would make a huge difference. We can't help everyone, but we can help some. If people stopped spending so much money on cars, purses, and jewelry, and instead put the money into helping people, the world would have a lot less suffering. I don't think anyone ever in the human lifetime will solve "poverty". If you look back in History you'll see there has always been starving/homeless/sick/dieing/hurt people. They have never discovered a true way in getting rid of this and i don't think we will ever.

Anytime we leave it to the government, a massive chunk of the resources (aka money) is wasted in paperwork and red tape. If we want to make a difference, we need to TRULY act "in my name" by making the change ourselves. Research the various NPOs to learn which are most effective and least wasteful and make a contribution to them. Because history has PROVEN that giving our dollars to our governments to get it done is about the least effective way possible to help.
