Nearly 500 runners set off on a course of 22 miles (35 kms) from Llanwrtyd Wells and over the surrounding hills of mid-Wales. Fifteen minutes later nearly 50 horses and riders set off in pursuit. This year the first runner across the line was Huw Lobb, a first-time entrant in the race. The Londoner is a regular marathon runner and covered the distance in two hours 5 minutes and 19 seconds. The first rider to finish was Zoe White, riding Kay Bee Jay, who completed the course in two hours, 7 minutes and 36 seconds. The Redbull Soap Box Race was held at Knebworth Park on the 8th of August 2004. This is a selection of highlights, with commentary by the legendary Murrey Walker. He commentated on F1 Grand Prix races from the 1940's 'til the late 90's or early 2000's even. We are not worthy! The team I took a fancy to because of their name (something to do with Badgers) right at the start of the day went on to win it. Joy!

Eldon Palmer is a car dealer in Indiana. He drove the Dodge Challenger to promote that car in the Indy 500 1971. Palmer set up a traffic cone on the pit lane to show himself where to begin slowing the car. But someone moved the cone away, Palmer stepped on the brakes too late, lost control of his car and slammed into a temporary grandstand with photographers.

Haven't been able to find much info on this but I believe it's the unlimited touring car class in Dutch Touring Car racing. Quite astonishing speed, obviously had a bad qualifying!
