For the first time in television history, Indian viewers will get to watch a transgender anchor. 28 year old, Rose, would be hosting a regional talk show 'IPADIKU ROSE' meaning 'Your Rose'. It would be a weekend show on the popular channel Star Vijay TV. Rose, at the age of 20 took a firm decision when she realized that she is a woman at heart. Ever since then, she has been keen on working for the upliftment of others like her.

ANCHOR:Climber Alain Robert scales a forty-five story Hong Kong skyscraper. He was promoting climate change awareness. Here's more on this remarkable story.STORY:It's a bird, it's a plane. No! It's the French spiderman! His name is Alain Robert. Just this Tuesday he scaled the forty-five story high Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong. Robert attempted this stunt in an effort to spread awareness about climate change. Hong Kong office workers out for their lunch break watched in awe and some worried as Robert slowly made his way up the glass and steel structure with no ropes or safety devices. Robert used the buildings steel rods for support and to pull himself up to the top of the building. He had kept his location a secret before the climb for fear he would be arrested after his attempt. But police stood calmly below the scene, ambulances awaiting.[Onlooker]:"It is a little bit worrisome right now, at this moment he is scaling sort of horizontally instead of vertically which means he's having difficulty getting past that next level."Robert is known for climbing with his bare hands, also called "free climbing". He has scaled some of the worlds most famous buildings such as the Eiffel Tower and Shanghai's Jin Mao Tower. In fact, he was briefly jailed after climbing the Jin Mao Tower. He has been arrested and fined more than a hundred times for climbing skyscrapers around the world. The forty five (45) year old climber began as a rock climber in the French Alps. In 1994 he switched to buildings to give himself more of a challenge. Robert told reporters that Tuesday's climb was an attempt to draw attention to the impact of global warming.[Alain Robert, Spiderman]:"I think the world has to understand that we don't have any time in front of us. We do need to act right away."Robert met with reporters at a nearby hotel before the climb. He said he wanted to talk to reporters before he climbed because afterwards he would "feel a little shaky".
